Business Forecasting Program
Starting June 2026, we're offering a structured approach to understanding financial planning and business projection. This isn't about shortcuts or guaranteed results.
You'll work through real scenarios based on what we've seen over years of helping businesses navigate uncertain markets. The focus is on building practical skills you can actually use—whether you're running a small operation or managing forecasts for a larger team.
Our approach combines hands-on exercises with real-world case studies. You'll learn to read patterns, spot risks, and make informed projections. No fluff, no empty promises.
Three Core Areas
We've broken down the curriculum based on what actually matters when you're dealing with financial uncertainty and business planning.
Data Interpretation
You'll dig into historical patterns and learn to separate meaningful trends from noise. We cover analysis methods that hold up under pressure, not just in textbooks.
Scenario Planning
Building multiple projections based on different assumptions. This is where you learn to account for variables that might throw your initial plans off track.
Risk Assessment
Identifying weak spots in forecasts and understanding where things could go sideways. You'll practice stress-testing your models against realistic market conditions.
How It Actually Works
Foundation Phase
First eight weeks focus on core concepts. You'll work through case studies from Australian businesses that dealt with market shifts between 2020 and 2024. We look at what worked and what didn't.
Applied Practice
Next twelve weeks involve building your own forecasting models. You'll receive feedback from practitioners who've been doing this work for years. Expect revisions—that's part of learning to get it right.
Project Work
Final eight weeks are dedicated to a comprehensive project. You'll choose a business scenario and create projections that account for multiple variables. This gets reviewed by peers and instructors.
Ongoing Support
After completion, you'll have access to monthly sessions where we discuss emerging challenges and new approaches. The field changes, and so should your methods.
